The horizontal mixer is a common industrial mixing equipment, which is widely used in industries such as commercial concrete, building materials, hazardous waste and solid waste. It is used to mix powdery, granular or pasty materials.
Structural Composition
Mixing Cylinder
A horizontally - placed U - shaped or cylindrical container, usually made of stainless steel or carbon steel.
Mixing Shaft
Horizontally penetrates the cylinder, with mixing blades (such as spiral ribbons, paddles, etc.) installed on the shaft.
Drive Device
The motor drives the mixing shaft to rotate through a speed reducer.
Inlet/Outlet
Feeding is done from the top, and discharging is from the bottom or the end (which can be designed as pneumatic/manual valves).
Auxiliary Systems
Optional heating, cooling, vacuum or sealing devices.
Working Principle
Inside the cylinder, materials generate radial and axial movements through the rotating mixing blades, forming convection, shear and diffusion to achieve uniform mixing.
