Common Faults Of Concrete Mixers And Their Solutions

Dec 28, 2024 Leave a message

Common faults of concrete mixers:

1. The mixing blades and support arm linings are loose due to loose connection bolts and uneven linings.
2. The tapered roller bearing is damaged, causing abnormal noise in the winch reducer.
3. The mixing blades are stuck in the mixing barrel with stones, causing the mixing motor to stop running.
4. The mixing blades are seriously worn and not replaced in time, resulting in too large a gap, stone jamming and overload, too much resistance of the mixing shaft end support device, and low voltage causing the mixing motor to overheat.
5. The track is not installed in parallel or the click brake separation gap is too small, the voltage is low, and the winch motor overheats.
6. The fault indicator light is off, which may be because the first limit switch of the hopper rise is broken or the rocker arm is loose, the striker is rusted, the rubber sheath is damaged, etc.

Common troubleshooting methods for the above faults are:

1. You can tighten the connection bolts and level the lining during daily inspection before use.
2. Replace the bearing.
3. Remove the stones stuck between the mixing blades and the lining plate.
4. Replace the blades and adjust the gap; add grease to the mixing support device.
5. Adjust the parallelism of the track and the motor brake separation gap.
6. Repair or replace the limit switch.

If the concrete mixer fails, be sure to carefully investigate the cause and try to minimize the delay in the project due to the failure of the concrete mixer. As long as the cause is found, a solution will be found. So when a failure occurs, don't panic. If you really can't find the cause, you can also call wom's after-sales phone.
